At Roama, we all believe that being active should go hand in hand with caring for the environment, after all being outdoors and embracing nature is what we love about so many of our well-being activities.
At the heart of it
We are using bamboo for much of our clothing, which is a highly sustainable resource that has a positive impact on global environmental concerns such as water scarcity, deforestation, soil erosion and the greenhouse effect. Another fibre we are committed to using is organic cotton, which is rain-fed and grown using natural methods. No nasty pesticides, fossil-fuel-based fertilisers are used, ensuring the soil stays healthy, water sources are kept cleaner and farmers are safer. Read more about organic cotton HERE
The polyester and nylon we use are recycled. We’re giving plastics a second life to divert waste from landfills. Activewear made from recycled plastic uses less resources and energy than clothing made from virgin fibres. We will always strive for the most sustainable route.
